First of all, welcome to my blog-space, which I have generously titled a “review”. Here I intend to break down the style, movement, colour, shape and medium of those things that most appeal to me aesthetically and which have informed and molded my long curiosity with the art of designing and dressing with taste. The curation of the *right* kind of clothing, along with everything else one can style, is more than a just a hobby; it’s really my greatest love.
In saying that, my education and professional experience has always put me somewhat at odds with the fashion industry and design arts, being an amateur videographer, journalist, editor and satirist. I couldn’t see myself being able to commit to the fashion industry fully for a multitude of reasons; matters of taste, matters of politics, actually finding employment opportunity, and so on. As the years have gone on, I’ve meditated more on this interest, and have decided a blog is the best way to explore my thoughts and opinions on matters of taste while being focused elsewhere. Think of it also as my pitch.
